Gino's "Basement Tape" Song Links

This is where you'll find all the rare and obscure stuff in my archive of
self-penned songs. Most of these unreleased original songs are the rough
song demos that I recorded on makeshift home recording studio gear
in the basements of every place I've lived since graduating from high school.

*New audio clips will be added whenever possible, so if you
get a kick out of hearing this stuff, be sure to check back often!

You'll need a recent version of the FREE "Real Player Basic" for these REAL AUDIO files.
Click the RealPlayer icon to download the latest FREE "Real One Player"

*If your internet connection is slower than DSL or Cable Modem speed,
these files work best if you download them to your hard drive and play them from there.
This will eliminate all those annoying "buffering" interruptions.

"Darkness On the Delta"
This is an old Barbershop Quartette classic.
I used my multi-track recorder to sing all four parts.

"Almighty Father"
*This is from Leonard Bernstein's MASS.
The "Moron Tapper-Knuckle Choir" you hear is all me.
I had just purchased my first pro digital multi-track recording gear,
and wanted to test its limits. I over-dubbed my voice 54 times to create
a HUGE Cathedral choir sound. Yeah, yeah! I know I'm super bizarre.

This is the cassette cover to a collection of songs I wrote in 1990,
trying to cope with the ONE truly devastating break-up of my life.
I named the collection: "REQUIEM"
A more appropriate title would have been:

"The Saddest Most Gut-Wrenching Break-up Songs of All Time!"

Click on the song links to hear them!
(Just make sure there are no razor blades, or handguns nearby!)

Seldom In a Lifetime
